Recently, the award ceremony for the 6th “Xplorer Prize” was held in Shanghai, honoring 49 young scientists. Professor Wang Meng of Hefei University of Technology, recognized as a laureate in the field of information electronics, was invited to attend the event. Esteemed scientists from the New Cornerstone Science Foundation’s Supervisory Committee, the Xplorer Prize Management Committee, as well as family members of the awardees, past recipients, and members of the media, gathered to witness this moment of glory for the scientific community.

Professor Wang Meng has long been engaged in research on multimedia information processing and artificial intelligence. He has been selected as an IEEE Fellow and an IAPR Fellow and has received funding from the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.
